The glorious moment when you actually purchase something from your ‘Lust List’…
It’s definitely been a while since my last ‘new in’ blog post and since May, I’ve been doing pretty well on the luxury purchase front. We all know that my self-control goes completely out of the window when it comes to shopping. That’s a total lie, I just don’t have any when it comes to shopping. So when you see something that’s still in season and on sale, the shopaholic in me would be crazy to turn that down. I shit you not, these Chloé Susanna Boots were on sale and in my size. Yes, you read that correctly…SALE.
I had no clue that Chloé even had current season shoes on sale. Alas I wasn’t going to question it. It’s like the stars aligned for me that day and I left the store very happy. It was like Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one. Again they’re probably another controversial pair of shoes but when have I ever cared or listened to what anyone thinks, when I purchase shoes? I think I passed the phase of not giving a shit, the minute I put my debit card into the reader and purchased my beloved Miu Miu ballerina flats. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to live down the the absolute shit that I got for purchasing those shoes…but of course I still wear them!
Red velvet and gold studs…I don’t think these shoes could be anymore perfect. I feel like I’ll be able to style these up or down pretty easily throughout the autumn and winter months. They’re definitely a statement piece and would nicely amp up any basic outfit. Naturally I’ll be pairing these with my Chloé Drew bag or the Chloé Nile bag that I’ve been lusting over the past few months…Who knows, anything is possible with my shopping habits!
In terms of sizing, I would normally wear a size 4 (EU 37) but these are a size 3 (EU 36) and fit comfortably. I’ve been told that you do have to size down in these boots just because they come up so big so I guess it’s worth trying them in store before you purchase a pair.
I’ve always loved Chloé and my love for the brand goes way back to my Chloé Drew bag that has been my absolute ride or die bag when you want to, lets say, be a little more inconspicuous with your designer accessories when you’re meeting new people (you know what I mean…).
I also thought I’d share with you my bag charm that my mother gave to me on my birthday, which I thought was a nice addition to my Drew!
Happy shopping my lovelies!
Lots of love,
