Roxanne Campbell: The Ultimate Luxury Manicure

*This post is in collaboration with Roxanne Campbell. The experience was gifted to me however all thoughts and views are my own.*

*Confession time* – I’m so guilty of not giving myself enough “me time” when life throws everything and anything my way. Yep, that’s right and it actually pains me to admit this because as a psychological therapist, you would think that I would know better by making sure that I’m taking care of myself before taking care of others on a day to day basis (apparently not!). Do as I say and not as I do right?

I know it’s bad because let’s be honest, it’s so crucial to give yourself that time to just completely shut off and engage in something that’s stress free. For me that’s something that I find challenging. It wasn’t until recently that I promised to take care of myself a little better even if it was in the form of something as little as a manicure. If you would’ve asked my 14 year old self to get one I probably would’ve laughed in your face but when I was kindly invited by Roxanne for a treatment at her new salon I didn’t even hesitate to say yes!

I was kindly invited down to her new nail salon located within the Rose & Wild studio in Fulham. Let me tell you now, it’s just as pretty and beautiful as ever. Really and truly, what I’m trying to say is that it will without a doubt fulfil and meet all of your Instagram-worthy needs!

I received an incredibly warm welcome from Roxanne the minute I arrived and enjoyed every minute of the manicure. There’s nothing worse than getting a treatment done and having to sit there in silence however that wasn’t the case at all. I found myself being completely in awe by Roxanne and the stories that she had to share about not only how hard she worked to develop her brand but also all of the success that’s followed. She is literally the epitome of the term “girl boss” and rightly so, having been absolutely slaying the nail game over the last 13 years by working with numerous designers and celebrities. Roxanne is literally THE sweetest person and made my experience that much more enjoyable.

I received the Roxanne Campbell’s Ultimately Luxury Manicure, which included a nail re-shape/ tidy, cuticle treatment, hand exfoliation/ massage and a lacquer of my choice. I really didn’t know what to expect because I guess I’ve always had different experiences visiting new salons (both good and bad). This definitely exceeded my expectations because I felt completely pampered and looked after. I even left without any cuts on my fingers, which is a first for me so that was a massive plus! For the first time I felt like I could allow myself to enjoy some well deserved “me time” that my body and everyone else has been screaming for me to have. After the treatment I didn’t even know my hands could ever feel as soft as they did.

Being the indecisive mess that I am, you can imagine how long it took me to pick a colour but thanks to Roxanne she helped me veer away from my normal and usual safe neutral colours. Naturally, I gravitated towards ‘Nude Tights’ but ended up going with ‘Kiss Me First’. This vibrant red shade was definitely a well needed slap in the face for me to step out of my comfort zone and I’m glad that I did. The colour came out great and the colour pay off was true to colour.

I cannot recommend this place enough and I look forward to coming back again for another treatment as I can slowly see myself making this a regular thing! If you’re looking to get a manicure soon, I’d definitely take the time to give Roxanne a visit. If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I’ve been to SOOOO many “Instagram” worthy salons that look pretty but the quality of the service just doesn’t compare with the treatment here at Roxanne Campbell.

Be sure to check out the other treatments on her website and Instagram for more information.

Lots of love,

Awesome post Rhea and I love the red! ❤💅💯 I’m similar to you, I have literally 2 shades I go to and my nail stylist is forever trying to convince me to branch out and try new shades 🙈 but worth it in the end!
